I have always had an interest in “artsy” things and I love to experiment with typography.  The basic idea of typography is to arrange type, fonts, colors and sizes to make an interesting layout.  Newspapers and magazines use it to create interest and add punch to their pages.

The elements of typography are as old as civilizaton itself, but modern typography really began in Europe during the 15th century, after the invention of the printing press and moveable type.

I decided to give typography a try.  Here is my first attempt.
